Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes AVTub at avtub.us, with contact email admin@avtub.us. It explains the website’s current static functionality and the handling of information visitors may choose to send. It should be reviewed if hosting, analytics, advertising, forms or other services change.

Information you give us

You can read public pages without creating an account. If you send an email or use a contact form, you may provide your name, email address, subject, message and any additional information you voluntarily include. We use that information for the purpose of understanding and replying to the message, reviewing correction requests and handling related correspondence. Please provide only details necessary for your inquiry.

The website does not ask visitors to submit payment information, create a profile, or upload private records. There is no account registration system. If you share sensitive personal data without being asked, it may still be present in the email or form message received; for that reason, avoid including it.

Hosting and technical information

Although the published website is made of static HTML, CSS, JavaScript and image files, any web host may process technical data needed to deliver those files. Typical server logs can include IP addresses, requested URLs, access times, browser information and error codes. AVTub does not directly control the host’s infrastructure-level logs or their retention settings. The hosting provider’s applicable documents and settings govern those operations.

Basic browser requests may also expose approximate network location inferred from an IP address. We do not present the site as collecting precise GPS information or location profiles. We have not installed a site analytics dashboard, behavior-tracking pixel or visitor profiling script as part of this static build.

How the contact form works

The optional contact form posts to FormSubmit, a third-party form processing service. That service may receive the details you enter and technical information necessary to process the submission. FormSubmit requires a one-time verification of the destination email address before submissions are reliably delivered; until verified, please use direct email. Information provided through an unverified form should not be regarded as received by AVTub.

If you click the direct email address, your email provider, app and its associated services process the message according to their own policies. Avoid sending confidential information. We do not make promises about the privacy practices of independent email or form providers.

Purposes and limits of processing

When we receive correspondence, its ordinary purposes are responding to inquiries, reviewing editorial feedback, resolving site problems, preventing abuse, and keeping a record necessary to understand a conversation. We do not sell submitted contact details. We do not use contact messages to build public visitor profiles or automatically subscribe people to a mailing list.

Where law requires a particular legal basis for handling personal information, it will depend on the context, such as responding to a requested communication, a legitimate need to maintain secure operations, or compliance with applicable obligations. This policy does not claim a single law applies to every visitor in every location.

Cookies and browser storage

The published AVTub pages do not intentionally set first-party cookies or use localStorage for tracking. The site’s navigation, search and blog filtering operate in the browser without creating an account or saving a personal profile. Because the site includes no active advertising or analytics integrations in this build, those integrations do not currently set cookies through AVTub pages.

A third-party form service or other site you open may have its own cookie behavior. Your browser may also retain normal cached files to load pages efficiently. Advertising and Google services

The supplied static site does not currently load Google AdSense, Google Analytics, Google Ads tags, or a consent-management platform. We therefore do not claim that advertisements, personalized ad targeting or advertising cookies are already operating. If such services are added, the applicable privacy and cookie disclosures, consent choices, and technical implementation must be updated before activation.

Google advertising services may, if deployed in a future version, use cookies or similar technologies to show, measure or personalize ads according to configuration, user choices and applicable law. Users may need region-specific consent controls or other notices. Those future possibilities are not a statement about current tracking behavior.

When information may be shared

Information may be processed by the hosting company, a contact form service if you submit through it, or ordinary email providers that carry a message. These parties have their own terms and obligations. We may disclose information if required by a valid legal process or to address credible security abuse, subject to applicable law. We do not publish private visitor messages as testimonials without appropriate permission.

External websites linked from our policies or contacted through your email software are separate services. We cannot control their security practices, and leaving the AVTub domain may expose you to different privacy rules.

Security and retention

No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Use care when deciding what to share. The static site does not maintain a database of visitor accounts or store form entries in a site-owned database. Emails and form notifications may remain in the receiving mailbox or with the service that delivers them until deleted or until relevant retention policies apply.

We aim to keep correspondence only as long as it is useful for the purpose received or required for legitimate administrative or legal reasons. There is no claim here of a fixed deletion period for every message, because email backups and third-party service settings may differ. Requests about a particular message can be sent to admin@avtub.us.

Your choices and privacy requests

You can decline to contact us and still use the public information on the site. You may manage browser cookies through your browser settings, although none are intentionally deployed by the current static pages. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, to object to some processing, or to complain to an appropriate supervisory authority.

To make a request, email admin@avtub.us with enough detail to identify the correspondence involved. We may need to verify that you are the person associated with the request and may have legal reasons to retain some records. We cannot guarantee that third parties can retroactively remove every email copy or technical log.

Children, changes and questions

AVTub is written for a general audience interested in home maintenance, not specifically for children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted information may contact us with the relevant details so the matter can be reviewed.

We may revise this policy to reflect real changes to the site and its service providers.
